Innere Qualitäten.
Kaveh Glass Head Office Building / Teheran / Amirabbas Aboutalebi

"From Sketches to Scale Models: My Architectural Journey at Bahram Shirdel's Office Post-Graduation in 2003"
This abstract provides a concise yet comprehensive overview of the key developments and challenges in Iranian architecture in the post-revolutionary period, with Bahram Shirdel emerging as a central figure who has significantly shaped the field's trajectory. The author's journalistic tone and unbiased perspective lend credibility to the analysis presented in the abstract.
Human Need to Retreat from City Life
The project was born out of a theoretical research program conducted by AA Design Atelier at the Sheikh Bahaei Research Institute, with support from Mazandaran University and UNESCO's United Nations National Commission in Iran. The aim of the research program was to address the conflict between the environmental hazards posed by villas in Iran and the human need for retreat and escape from city life.
The Tamisian off-grid prototype is a farm-villa that seamlessly integrates into its natural surroundings. By utilizing passive energy systems and rainwater harvesting, the villa minimizes its ecological footprint. The design also incorporates traditional architectural elements inspired by vernacular architecture, creating a harmonious blend of modernity and tradition.
One of the key objectives of this project is to improve people's psychological well-being. The off-grid villa provides a serene sanctuary where individuals can reconnect with nature and find solace away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. By immersing themselves in natural elements, residents can experience a sense of tranquility that positively impacts their mental health.
The success of this project would not have been possible without the guidance and inspiration of Professor Rana Zadeh from Cornell University.
Location
The Villa Farm prototype by AA Design Atelier is situated in Tamisian, within the Tehran province of Damavand country, Iran. Nestled at an elevation of 1580 meters, this project encompasses a site area of 350 sq.m overlooking the valley, positioned 90 meters above the main river that originates from Iran's highest peak, Mount Damavand, towering at 5760 meters.

DESCRIPTION
The Dancing Towers design idea is for three 21-story residential towers in the El-Goli Blv. District Tabriz, Iran, in which we did several alternative concepts for the project "Ana Triple Towers".
The design is inspired by the ancient Sufi dance of Mulana Rumi & Shams Tabrizi. Each tower features a subtle rotation to create a sense of movement in the harmonious composition. The rotation and twists in each tower maximize light, air, and indoor/outdoor visual interactions in the relatively dense configuration.
Dialogue between the inner and outer space
The aim was to achieve transparency in the concrete structure
Ana Triple Towers is a 23 story residential complex with a triple tower,
connected by a 12 m podium supported by 3 structural central cores in the city of Tabriz.
Study Physical Scale Model
Scale: 1/200
Key challenges overtook to balance different architectural qualities and to support human work:
Breaking the routine and certain architectural styles of the time, addressing new approaches to space and health factors for workers made the key solutions.
Other principles: Energy efficiency, Cost efficiency, Health, Evidence-based design
